About

‘If it’s important to you, it’s important to me.’

Ellen Leung, PT, MScCH, PCES

Registered Physio, Certified Pilates Instructor, and Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist

After my first pregnancy and childbirth in 2014, Pilates became a part of my life out of necessity. I’d had my fair share of injuries over the years from karate and rugby, but never a core injury. I was immediately impressed with just how much Pilates encourages functional movement patterns through healthy engagement of the core and pelvic floor muscles as well as their connection to the nervous system.

Best of all, it doesn’t feel like work (ok, maybe a little but I promise it’s fun!). Being able to combine Mat, Reformer, and Chair repertoire with traditional physiotherapy techniques allows me to work in a way that is both effective and enjoyable for my clients.

Everyday I am thankful for a job that inspires me and new learnings that I love to share. Being able to do what what I love with support from my husband, Mike, is an absolute blessing. When we’re not working, we’ve got our hands full with three little boys and dreams of travel adventures.
